Rooms were spacious, but could have been better cleaned. There were multiple stains on the bed sham and floor. Breakfast was great. Front desk great. Housekeeping could use some help.

My trip leaving St Louis I had absolutely no issues. However, I wasn't told until the morning I was flying out that I would not have access to a shuttle back to my car at your hotel due to the fact that shuttles don't operate after a certain time in the evening and I was arriving shortly before midnight. The driver who took me to the airport did tell me, however to just call the front desk upon my arrival into St Louis and that it shouldn't be an issue getting a taxi ride reimbursed since this situation has happened quite often. When I got into St Louis I called the front desk just like I was told to and spoke to a "Kia"? who was very abrupt and told me that there was nothing she could do. I ended up having to stand in a long taxi line since there were no available taxis and finally got one to take me back to your hotel. It wasn't the fact that I had to pay the $25 to get the taxi, it was the fact that I was told that there would be some sort of effort on the hotels part to make this right. Even if getting a reimbursement wasn't possible, it would have been nice if the lady I spoke to at the front desk even tried to sound like she cared.

The hotel only runs their shuttle part time. For the Park, Sleep, & Fly customers who need transport to or from the airport early morning and late at night the hotel pays for a cab to get you to and from the airport. Unfortunately, both ways we had trouble with the cab service. They never sent the van required to carry 4 of us and our luggage, as the hotel requested to get to the airport. The cab that came made 2 trips to get us to the airport. Upon return, after waiting for over 45 minutes at the airport for the cab company the hotel said they ordered, we took a different cab company and got reimbursed from the hotel.

We loved our Park and Fly experience at La Quinta. It is only a short drive from Westport to the airport. They paid for early taxi service for us since their shuttle doesn't start running until 7:00 a.m. The room rate was very reasonable and much better that what we found closer to the airport. It also allowed for 2 weeks free parking vs 7-10 days at other hotels.
