The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation but for a place to sleep it was fine. The parking was a bit taken up by construction equipment. The staff was very friendly - although there was a group of people loitering in the lobby. A must note, they don't always employ a shuttle on the weekends and they call you a cab. This means you have to meet them at the taxi stand in the parking garage and not on the street where the shuttles pick up.

We arrived and the front desk clerk informed us our reservation had been canceled a few hours earlier, which we had not done. We had our confirmation number and we kind pressure, a room smelling strongly of moth balls was provided.

The hotel is undergoing renovations which it needs but that did not interrupt my stay in any way. The room was great, the bed was nice but I have two suggestions: 1) you offer shuttle service to the airport starting at 4am. I called several days before my stay to let you know I would need the shuttle at 4am. I reminded you at check in I would need the 4am shuttle (so did another family I was told). We got to the lobby at 3:45am and we're told they had called cab's because the shuttle was not running. The cab was 30min. late getting us, then missed the airport exit and also hit a truck trying to cross 4 lanes of traffic to get to the exit. We didn't pay anything for the taxi but I was irritated I was 30min late. 2) The hotel offering airport pickup. I was given a business card and told to call once I landed. I called once I got my luggage. I told them I was at exit 16. I was told to go to exit 18. I called the hotel because where I was the last exit was 16 and I didn't know where exit 18 was. I was told I've never been to an airport so ask someone. I learned I was in terminal 2 and exit 18 is in terminal 1. I took a shuttle to terminal 1 and eventually found the shuttle driver (who was super nice). It would have been helpful if the hotel would have said meet the driver at terminal 1, exit 18 instead of the snotty comment and then hanging up on me.

This may be a nice place once the rehab gets done. Front desk personel screwed up the billing and the shuttle request. May want to consider a visit to this hotel in person before you place the info on your website.

Bed was hard. Elevator smelled like pot. The business section was none functional. Hotel desk personnel were not helpful for helping us get our confirmation for our airplane ride. Shuttle service was slow to pick up when arriving back in St, Louis.

The ac unit was extremely loud, the coffee pot had an used pod left in it, there was only ONE wash cloth! The bathrrom was not that clean either. We arrived around 11:30; had an early flight to catch, so didn't complain that night as we just needed sleep.

The hotel and shuttle to the airport was good. The return, however, was terrible. I called to find out where to be picked up at the airport and was told the wrong location. Over a 90 minute period, I called back three times to verify the location and status of the driver and only after the fourth call did she say we were supposed to be in a different location. We went to the new location and waited another 15 minutes with no shuttle...I gave up and we took a taxi back to the hotel to get our car.

When we arrived to check in on July 4, the hotel was under extensive renovation. The first floor was gutted; we were greeted with drywall dust everywhere, makeshift plastic curtains over doors, workers blasting a radio, plus an elevator that was out of service and a group of men sharing a case of beer outside the propped-open back door. We were not prepared for this at all, so it was a bit of a shock. On the upside, we stayed on the third floor, which was finished, and the room itself was quite pleasant.
