When we arrived in our room the bed only had sheets on it. We called the front desk and shortly after an employee knocked on our door and had a wadded up blanket. In between flights we called the hotel to remind them of our arrival in Hartford for our shuttle. He gave us the number of the driver to call when we arrived and when we did the driver was upset and had a taxi driver pick us up. Very disappointed after a long day of traveling and having to deal with that after midnight.

First room sliding door lock to outside was broken and did not lock. Second room air conditioner stopped working after 2 hours and room got hot. Desk person offered a third room but wife was asleep and I did not want to wake her; we had to be up at 2;30 am. I did not get much sleep. Otherwise room was in just fair condition. Shuttle was contracted. The driver was prompt and was waiting for us at the hotel and the airport.

We arrived late. Front desk was accommodating but overcharged us for our stay. He told me to take it up with parksleepfly. Room was old and smelly. We were there only four hours before an early morning flight and really didn't sleep. The shuttle service was great out, just a driver and his car. Coming back I texted we were ready to be picked up as I was told. The driver told me I was supposed to call when I was leaving for the airport. He said I could get another ride to the car or he would be about 25 minutes. We didn't mind waiting and hoping he would come. He did.

Check in was easy. The room was very simple but that was all that we needed. We were missing a shower curtain but the front desk brought us a new one right away. I wish the pillows weren't so lumpy. It made it very hard to sleep. The shuttle to the airport wasn't a shuttle but a taxi instead. Not the biggest fan of the taxi drivers because all they do is complain about how much luggage you brought.

The hotel was excellent. Friendly staff and accommodations were great. For the park, sleep, fly using the taxi to get to the airport was good. However, on the way back the taxi service left a lot to be desired. The taxi driver kept saying "this is stupid" when handed the voucher for the taxi station and complained all the way from the airport to the hotel that this is stupid and saying some things that we could not understand. The ride from the airport to the hotel was less than pleasant. I realize this is not the fault of the hotel, however, they do contract with the taxi service to be used as a shuttle service. This made our return experience very uncomfortable.

Seemed kind of empty, so we were wondering why there weren't more guests--was something wrong? But the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and our car was safe and secure when we returned from our trip. The fact that the shuttle had been in an accident and we had to take a cab--which the hotel paid for--was a little different, but it worked out fine.
