Airport Information

At Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI), we are committed to maintaining the level of convenience that travelers have come to expect. We are working hard to ensure Maryland’s world-class aviation gateway always has an Easy Come, Easy Go atmosphere. We hope you enjoy your trip whenever you fly using BWI.

Whether you have just a few minutes to wait before your flight, or two hours to lounge away between connections, BWI offers you a host of amenities that may make it hard to believe you are at an airport. It’s like no other airport you’ve been to. You can have it quick, or you can dine in relaxed, elegant surroundings and forget you’re at the Airport. Nathan’s for a dog or two, or maybe Roy Roger’s, Charley’s Steakery or the BWI Deli are just a few of the fast and flavorful offerings for a traveler on a schedule. More "ambience"? Try the Fells Point Brew Pub, our Euro Café or the Preakness Lounge. Seek and you’ll find what you’re looking for among the 27 eateries throughout the Terminal.

We’ve got it all, from fresh flowers to regional specialties sure to make a hit. Quality collectibles to cool shades to a selection of kid-oriented or grownup giveables that will bring a smile to any face, regardless of gender or age. Careful, you may even forget that you’re still at the Airport! And if you’re not, you can still review our offerings by checking us out at bwiairport.com for a list of our mall’s outlets.

For those with time, we’ve got more than twelve miles of clear running, jogging or strolling laid out along the BWI Trail. It begins at Elm Road, just minutes from the Terminal, and there is plenty of parking at the Tom Dixon Aircraft Observation Area on Route 176. Get out and get some exercise and you will find that everything that flies does not have wings of aluminum. The BWI Trail offers many birding pleasures, so bring your field glasses.
